Summer Graduation took place between Wednesday 16 July and Thursday 24 July 2025.
Winter Graduation will take place between Tuesday 16 December to Thursday 18 December 2025.
Closer to the ceremonies, you will receive your e-ticket via your email address.
Further information on buying tickets on the day, where space allows, will be available closer to the event.
You do not need to pre-book your photography; the studio will be open each day during Graduation. Please do not attend a photography session at the same time as your Graduation ceremony.

All Graduation ceremonies will be livestreamed on YouTube.
Ceremony recordings will be available to view on the University of Southampton YouTube channel after Graduation. Please note, these may not be available straight away.

Only one small bag per person is permitted, and it must not be bigger than A4 size and security measures are in place with bag checks on arrival.
Large bags - including rucksacks - are not allowed, so please make alternative arrangements.
There are no facilities to leave large bags or luggage. If you really have to bring a bag – and it’s preferable you don’t – please do make sure it's small.

By train: The O2 Guildhall is a short walk from Southampton Central station. There are also public buses that can take you from the station to the venue.
By bus: The Unilink U1 and U2 bus services will be running from Highfield campus as usual. You can view timetables on the Unilink website.
By car: There are several car parks in the area that are less than a 10-minute walk from the venue. Please note that there are no parking facilities at the O2 Guildhall Southampton.

Unfortunately, there are no reserved accessible parking spaces available at the Guildhall. Graduates or guests who have informed us of accessibility requirements can be dropped off on the forecourt, but the driver will need to use one of the car parks listed above.
The Civic Centre forecourt does have disabled bays for Blue Badge holders, but please note that the Civic Centre forecourt has a limit of two hours, so guests should use the car parks listed above.
After your ceremony, there will be an opportunity to celebrate with your peers, academics and guests at a drinks reception.
