Alex's current research includes the study of sero-epidemiology of Streptococcus pneumoniae as part of the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Group led by Prof. Stuart Clarke.

Biography
Alex is a project manager within the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Group, Faculty of Medicine. Before joining the University in January 2022, he worked as a project manager within University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust as part of the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme. He has particular interests in infectious disease epidemiology, health services management and health education.
Alex also holds teaching responsibilities on the BM5, BM(EU) and BM6 programmes at Southampton, and co-leads the module MEDI6267 Communicable Disease Control alongside Dr L. Tezera.
