How much will you spend each week?
The cost of living in Southampton is relatively low compared to other Russell Group university cities across the UK. Average costs for private accommodation, transport, and essential supermarket items such as milk, bread and rice are cheaper in Southampton than in many other university cities.
Your biggest weekly cost will be your accommodation.
University of Southampton managed Halls of Residence include utilities and a Unilink bus pass in their cost. If you live in private accommodation, these costs may be extra.
