My main research interests lie in statistical modelling and applications of machine learning to reduce operational carbon emissions from the residential property sector. Specifically, I am interested in exploring occupant behaviour in housing to inform strategies for reducing energy usage. This includes enhancing the communication of building energy performance and refining the energy advice provided through Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) to support more effective retrofitting policy.
