Fidaus received her BSc in Petrochemical Engineering from KNUST, Ghana. She worked for two years as a Stock and Quality Control Officer at Quantum Gas Terminals Limited before completing an MRes in Catalysis at Imperial College London, where she studied the electrocatalytic conversion of carbon dioxide into value-added industrial chemicals. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Southampton, focusing on the conversion of carbon dioxide into sustainable marine fuels using DFT calculations and microkinetic modelling, under the supervision of Dr Sergio Vernuccio, with co-supervision from Robert Raja and Prof Lindsay-Marie Armstrong.
