About

Who are we?

We are a group of public health professionals based at academic and service institutions across Wessex. The aim of our group is to:

  1. To provide a network of professionals working in public and population health across Wessex including those affiliated to academic and local and regional government institutions
  2. To cultivate a culture of collaboration between these teams at the different institutions to facilitate timely, efficient and effective joint work and research to serve the local populations’ health
  3. To exchange knowledge and expertise towards multidisciplinary projects aimed at improving the public’s health and reducing inequalities in Wessex
