Research project

Global Research and Innovation Partnership (GRIP) Project: EO4Agroclimate

Project overview

The objective of the review is to provide the STFC EO4AgroClimate programme management team with expert insight into the key issues regarding monitoring and modelling crop performance and future viability, and to provide suggestions for future focus of the work. It will cover the main driving issues, state of the art in agriculture monitoring using EO data in the UK and Australia and research needs, including an overview of the key institutes, organisations and businesses in each country in the Agritech sector. The review will also discuss future prospects and expected developments in mapping and modelling Agriculture practices using EO data. The review will work collaboratively with university of Wester Australia.
