Project overview
African infrastructure, including health facilities, water networks, and waste management sites, faces severe risks from climate change, including flooding and extreme heat. Although better access to climate and health data can point the way toward solutions and spark action, barriers to research make it difficult to gather evidence, leaving policies disconnected from everyday reality. Supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the OASIS project will strengthen the capacity of African and European researchers to analyse secondary data for climate adaptation. By promoting open research practices and using photovoice narratives, it will identify common barriers and solutions to climate stress.
