Project overview
In this doctoral research I investigated the links between internal and international migration and their impact on development on migrants' areas of origin, in the context of migration within and from Albania. The study draws on over 120 in-depth interviews with Albanian migrants and their families across four sites in the villages of origin, internal urban destination areas and the Greek city of Thessaloniki.
