My current research is a part of the PhD programme and here I am focusing on depression in later life. This was evoked by the findings of my last two research projects focussing on social isolation and loneliness and the transition of older adults into a nursing home. I am particularly interested in which goals are important in later life and the relation between goals in later-life, the future-time perspective of older adults and the occurrence of late-onset depression.
