This scholarship gives you £10,000 off your tuition fees. International students in the USA applying for any 1 year in person postgraduate taught programme within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities can apply for this scholarship. It is offered in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.
Eligibility
To get this scholarship you must:
have an offer to study a 1-year in person postgraduate taught course within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Southampton
have a USA passport
be a permanent resident of the USA
meet your programme offer conditions by the 30 June 2027
be willing to act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the value of studying at a UK University and be a scholarship advocate
be willing to demonstrate future contribution to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement through the benefits achieved after graduation
We determine residency as where you have been living for a 3-year period or longer before the start of the course.
This does not include where you are living for study purposes, if it is somewhere different from your place of permanent residency.
