About
Dr Mahmudul Hasan is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Information Systems within the Department of Decision Analytics and Risk. He is also a Fellow of Advance HE (formerly the Higher Education Academy). His primary research interests include investigating the use of digital technologies in crisis situations, (online) community governance, managing falsehoods on social media, exploring success and failure of Information Systems. His research has appeared in several peer-reviewed journals such as Information Systems Journal (ABS4), Journal of Information Technology (ABS4), Information Technology & People (ABS3) and conferences (e.g., ECIS, PACIS).
