Dr Joe Atkinson is Associate Professor of Employment Law. He is the Impact and Knowledge Exchange Lead for the School of Law, and Co-Director of the Stefan Cross Centre for Women, Equality and Law.
Joe’s area of expertise and research is employment and labour law, with a particular focus on the intersection of employment law and human rights and the regulation of new 'algorithmic management' technologies in the workplace.
Joe is a Trustee for the Southampton Advice & Representation Centre, and joint convenor for the Labour Law section of the Society of Legal Scholars.
