The Centre of Excellence in Sustainability Accounting and Reporting (CESAR) aims to foster and support high-quality, impactful research, teaching, and enterprise engagement with practice and policy. We achieve this by advancing knowledge, expertise, and resources while providing a supportive network for mentoring and career development.

Accreditation

As part of our commitment towards advancing sustainability reporting, we champion and sustain the GRI accreditation of the Business School as the only University in the UK to be a licensed trainer.

Expertise

Our colleagues are experts in sustainability reporting standards and frameworks. Many of us are certified GRI Sustainability Professionals. We also have colleagues with expertise in SBTi, ESRS, CSRD, SASB, TFCD among others.
