Course lead

Dr. Mohamed Elmahgoub is a dedicated scholar in the fields of corporate governance and financial reporting. His research examines the intersection of executive incentives, corporate transparency, and governance mechanisms, with publications in top-tier journals such as Journal of Business Ethics and Accounting and Business Research. 

Dr. Elmahgoub has been recognised for his contributions to academia with multiple accolades, including the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellent Teaching and Learning Experience (2022) and Supporting Sustainability (2023) at the University of Southampton. He has also secured competitive research grants, supporting his investigations into the dynamics of managerial decision-making and its impact on firm sustainability and disclosure practices.
