This 1-year online teaching course helps you gain professional skills in designing and delivering virtual learning to students around the world. You’ll explore the full teaching and learning cycle – from identifying learner needs to planning and evaluating online education – and build confidence in using technology to teach creatively and inclusively.

With our online teaching postgraduate certificate, you'll:

  • learn how to deliver training online
  • understand contemporary pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning
  • develop skills in how to deliver online learning through a diverse set of digital tools

As you study at master's level without having to attend the University campus, you'll also have the opportunity to develop transferable practical and academic skills to help you succeed in your teaching career, including:

  • communication
  • leadership
  • adaptability
  • resilience
  • digital literacy
  • teamwork

These skills prepare you to teach at all levels in schools, colleges and universities, and in professional and informal learning environments. You’ll also be well placed to progress your studies with our online MSc Education course.
