About

Dr Helena Fisk is a Lecturer in Nutritional Science whose research focusses on diet and its links to inflammation and immune function across the lifecourse with particular interest in obesity and ageing.

She is the NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre Research Co-Theme Lead Designate for the Nutrition, Lifestyle and Metabolism theme, chair of the Society of Chemical Indsutry Lipids Group, and EuroFed Lipid board member. 

She co-leads undergraduate Medicine (BM5) AK4, and contributes to education and research supervision across BM6/BM5/EU and Biomedical Sciences MSc programmes.
