Nanofabrication cleanrooms The Southampton Nanofabrication Centre houses a fully featured suite of semiconductor processing tools up to 200 millimetre wafer scale. Hybrid materials and devices facility National Electron Diffraction facility The electron diffraction facility, part of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, enables single-crystal structure analysis of crystallites too small for single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiments. It is mainly used for testing renewable energy generation systems and energy storage systems.
