Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:

• Develop and practice knowledge, skills and attitudes required to demonstrate competency for the achievement of Episode of Care at the end of part 2 of the programme. (These are outlined in the Practice Assessment Document).
• Participate in care and demonstrate that you are working towards the achievement of all skills and nursing procedures listed within the skills passport.
• Participate in the administration of medicines under direct supervision as you continue to develop your knowledge of pharmacology, how medicines act and interact in the systems of the body, and their therapeutic action related to patients you have cared for.
• Participate in care with increasing independence working towards achievement the completion of the proficiencies associated with part 2 of the Practice Assessment Document. (These are outlined in the Practice Assessment Document).
• Demonstrate appropriate professional conduct and values throughout the placement.
