Eligibility
To get this scholarship you must:
- be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible commonwealth country and live there permanently
- be available to start your academic studies by September or October 2025
- be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship
- provide all supporting documentation in the required format
Candidates will be chosen based on:
- their potential to impact the development of their home country
- academic merit
- the quality of research proposal
By the start of our proposed scholarship, you must also hold either a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard or a second class degree (2:2) and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a master’s degree).
