Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of and competence in using basic counselling skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of, and competence in applying the principles, purposes and different methods of assessment undertaken with homeless service users.
- Demonstrate self-reflection on your skills for engaging with service users.
- Demonstrate critical awareness of populations that have complex needs and ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
- Demonstrate competence in accurate risk assessment and management.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of issues to do with race, culture and diversity which need to be considered when working with services users.
