International Criminology
Biography
I joined the Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology in October 2025 as a Lecturer in Criminology. My research broadly examines the intersections of gender, law, and crime, adopting an international and comparative perspective. I received my PhD from the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Cambridge and was also formally trained at the Institute of Criminology. I am currently a Non-Resident Fellow at the Centre for Criminology, University of Hong Kong. In addition, I serve as Co-Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Division of Feminist Criminology within the American Society of Criminology.
