Dr Frances C Nwadike obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Abuja, Nigeria. She holds a Master of Laws degree from Durham University and a PhD from Newcastle University. She has published in leading academic journals on issues related to international trade law, and has presented her research papers at various forums, including the Harvard Global Scholars Academy 2022 and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Frances is a dual qualified legal practitioner, and has been admitted to practise law as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria, and as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Prior to joining Southampton Law School, Frances worked in several legal, research and teaching roles. These include Associate Lecturer at Newcastle University, Teaching Fellow (Commercial/Corporate Law) at Durham University and Visiting Researcher at the World Trade Institute (WTI), University of Bern.
