Interventions for Emerging Mental Health Difficulties in Education Settings
EHMPs will need to develop and awareness of emerging mental health difficulties in education settings and be able to intervene with parents / carer and school staff in these settings. Three key intervention skills will be taught in this module:
The first core skill will be consultation skills. EMHPs will be expected to advise and support teachers and other school and college staff about the psychological effects of common problems in children and adolescents. Process consultation skills will provide a framework for the EMHP to offer consultation to staff in relation to specific groups of children or young people, or in relation to individual children. EHMHs will need to demonstrate competency in this area. -

Intrapartum and Postnatal Midwifery Practice
This module introduces the scope of midwifery practice and foundations of universal midwifery care in order for you to contribute to the provision of safe, competent and evidence-based care throughout the intrapartum and postnatal period. You will consider the biological, psychological and sociological processes of labour and the puerperium, and how these impact upon the woman, fetus, neonate and her family. You will combine your knowledge about the physiological process of labour, the puerperium and neonatal adaptation to extra-uterine life, with the recommended care provision, to learn essential clinical skills in preparation for your first clinical placement. -

Intro to Sustainable Luxury Business
The module introduces the breath of the luxury industry from a cross-sector perspective from fashion, automotive, travel, fashion, art, yachting and new luxury emerging consumer categories such as wellness and cosmetic surgery. It also interrogates new and evolving concepts of what luxury is, for e.g. time being the biggest luxury of our time, experiences over possessions and new category choices to spend disposable income on. You will learn about the key categories within luxury business, market players, the economics of luxury. Gaining an understanding of the concepts and principles of contextual issues impacting luxury business such as sustainable and ethical practices, and the implications to how businesses need to operate today to manage the expectations of consumers led by the core principles of social and environmental sustainability. -
