Current research
Alex Gershkov’s recent work continues to advance the theory of mechanism design by integrating considerations of risk, information asymmetry, and dynamic settings. In recent research Alex studies these considerations in insurance markets, markets for financial securities and classical economic allocation problems. These contributions expand our understanding of how risk preferences, budget constraints, and strategic dynamics shape optimal mechanisms beyond standard risk‐neutral or static models.
